Don Lemon’s Sexual Assault Accuser Claims CNN Protects Predators

The man who accused openly-gay CNN host Don Lemon with sexually-charged assault divulged recently said that the liberal news network was “a predator protecting machine,” although he’s pleased to see Chris Cuomo fired and held accountable for his crimes.

It has been more than two years since Dustin Hice filed suit against Lemon, who was charged with sexually assaulting and battery at a bar in Long Island New York during the summer 2018. After a lengthy legal process, the case will likely be settled in court by early next year. CNN fired Cuomo, a close friend of Lemon, on Saturday after a series sexual misconduct-related scandals.

“They’re a network rife with predators and perverts. Lemon will have to testify under oath in the near future, but it’s good to see that there’s finally some accountability happening,” Hice told Fox News Digital.

Hice claims he wants to find closure and peace after what he describes as a horrible encounter. Lemon is accused of rubbing his genitalia vigorously, putting his hand down his front, and then shoving his same hand into Hice’s mustache while asking a vulgar question.

Just like Lemon, Cuomo got the backing of the mainstream media juggernaut up until the surfacing of shocking revelations by the New York attorney general about Cuomo’s involvement in protecting his brother Andrew. CNN reported that Chris Cuomo was the victim of a new sexual harassment claim, after months of keeping “Cuomo Prime Time” on air.

“This is who they are. They’re a predator-protecting machine, they slander and smear victims with impunity,” Hice said.

“They’ve tried to grind me down, they’ve attempted to intimidate witnesses in my case, they’ve released confidential information about me in an attempt to doxx me. They are complicit. This is who they are,” Hice added.

Lemon and Cuomo have a history of being close to each other and often expressed praise for one another. On a nightly basis, the humorous banter between Cuomo and Lemon was one of the most popular segments on CNN. Lemon and Cuomo also hosted a podcast together, before Lemon was fired by CNN.

“In response to Mr. Hice’s baseless allegations, I encourage people to review the public filings, which show that Mr. Hice’s claims have been steadily eroding when they have been exposed to the civil litigation process. Mr. Hice’s fanciful and salacious allegations against Mr. Lemon have collapsed of their own weight. Unlike Mr. Hice, Mr. Lemon has litigated, and will continue to litigate this case in the courtroom, not the press. We look forward to the approaching trial so he can finally put this case behind him,” Lemon’s attorney, Caroline J. Polisi said in an interview.
